Expert Reviews of Motorola Q9h Global (AT&T)
Expert Rating: 3.5

The Motorola Q9h, also known as the Motorola Q Global, is a fully loaded world-roaming smartphone complete with the latest Microsoft Windows Mobile OS 6, a 2-megapixel camera, and ofcourse support for the high-speed HSDPA data network, which offers super fast surfing speeds providing a pretty good streaming audio and video experience. However, as such, it doesnt boast the best battery life when the multimedia features are used frequently and Bluetooth is left enabled. On the upside, you can access multiple e-mail accounts and create Office documents on the fly using this smartphone.

Earlier I had an HTC phone and had decided I will use nothing but Windows Mobile. The Motorola Q9h looked like a great choice and it was at a pretty decent price on LetsTalk.com. Once I started using it, I realized that Motorola has completely screwed up the interface. The user interface is very badly designed. Finding applications is like going through a maze. Battery life is very bad, but with the package they give one extra extended life battery, but that makes the phone look bulky and the battery life isn't very good either. If you are reading this review, I assume you are interested in this phone. I have only one piece of advice, stay away from it.

The Moto Q is the best phone that I've ever had. I can do so many things with it. I wouldn't trade it for another phone.

The form and fit of the the Q9h is nice. The screen is beautiful. As a phone, which is the primary use it is really good. Call quality is outstanding and the speaker phone is the best I've used. WM6 not as polished as the treo. If you are looking for a treo replacement, you may be disappointed.
