If you don't plan on traveling ever , then cricket is the plan for you. Cricket is excellent if you don't have a landline and any form of transportation out of the city . Understand that you won't ever get to talk to a human being..no matter how many times you press "0" or shout "customer service !" into the automated system. When you pay your bill, you better pray that your at least ten days early because it takes about that long for your money to post and if you ever get your service shut off for some reason...don't even think about calling. So I would have to say, if you plan on staying in the same city for the rest of your life, hate talking to human beings and have plenty of time and patience just in case your phone is disconnected....... By all means.

My dad sells cell phones for all the different phone companies. He got a Cricket cell phone for free. We don't pay anything on it, except for any ringtones or games I download onto it. He gave it to me. Even though we don't really pay anything for it, its not worth it! Cricket is terrible! Whenever we have a question and we call customer service they can NEVER answer my questions. I never have service.in a few months I'm getting a Verizon cell phone (which I am gladly willing to pay for with my own money) and I cannot wait to get rid of it! If anyone is considering buying a cell phone.. I'd say FORGET IT!!

I have been a customer for 5 years and have 3 lines of service, I have been talked down to and treated with no respect from their customer service, the phone I have had to be replaced just days after purchase and was replaced with a refurbished phone with over 100 hours of use on it and a bad battery. I tried to get the photo messaging to work and after they flashed the phone 2 times I lost all the app's I had downloaded and paid over 50 dollars for and was told they don't replace them and still was unable to send a photo message. For the money you can get Nextel and save! I have switched just this week and will not ever go back to cricket.

I have to make a comment about the Cricket phone. I hear so many people say that the phone service is no good but I think that they are wrong. Where else are you going to get a phone bill thats really cheap compared to the other phone services that charge alot of money a month for thier phone service. I got a Audiovox 8910 and talk on it all the time but the most thing that I use it for is texting alot. I got the travel time on my phone and its nice that when you go on vacation that you can still use your phone their. From what see about the phones that they sell the cheap phones dont do as good as the higher priced ones. I also never had any problems when I called the customer service. It took me about two or three mins to talk to a customer rep. I had a problem with my phone one time and took it to a Cricket retailer and they fixed my phone their. I call that good service.

I've had my cricket phone now for 3 years now and I love it. I got the Cricket 2 plus plan and it is excellent. I also got travel time on my phone that helps me when I travel to different states you can here so well that's its like that the person your talking to is rite next to you. I've never ever had any complaints about the customer service department when I called them what-so ever. I call them and within 2 Min's or less I'm talking to someone on the phone. I've had other phone providers but I'm not going to mention their names because their nothing to brag about at all. Keep up doing what you are doing cricket. Your a ok by me. I recommend everybody to cricket all the time and they switched to cricket as well.
