The most similar phones in terms of feature capabilities are the Bold and the iPhone. Both offer seamless access to corporate and personal email addresses, and are designed for a business application. The Solstice offers access to personal email, but is intended for personal use, rather than business.
The most similar phones in terms of form factor are the Solstice and the iPhone because they both offer a touch screen.

The Solstice does not have mediaflo, so it is not mobile tv capable. It also has a weaker camera. Yes, the touch can be modified.

Yes, you can access gmail on the Solstice.
If you want to use the gps feature on AT&T, you need to purchase AT&T Navigator, which is $9.99/month. That will provide you with turn-by-turn directions.

Your specifications list a PC-USB support system. Does this mean there is no support for MacIntosh computers for this phone? Does Java enabled software suggest data hold? Purchase of second phone is pending on this question.

2 questions, What is the best way to access Gmail since there is not a quick access icon such as Yahoo.
Also is there a function to have it show you where you are on a street map such as on the iphone? Do you need the AT&T navigator for this?
Thanks

I would go to gmail in your web browser and bookmark the gmail page so that you can access it quickly.
No, the Solstice does not have a street map like the iPhone. The only phones that have that feature are the iPhone, Blackberries, and Android phones. If you want a similar feature, I would go to google maps in your web browser and bookmark it. That way when you open your browser, you can quickly go to google maps. Remember, just like on the iPhone, that feature will use data every time you open it.

Please tell me apples for apples which phone at&t has that is as close to identical as the apple I phone. The reason I need to know is that I won't be able to get the reception where I am going to live to be able to get the I phone. I will be living in Sanford, NC zip code 27330. Please e-mail me back as soon as possible. Someone told me the Samsung Eternity was a close match with the I phone. I just want your opinion. Please e-mail me back soon.
Thanks,

The closest thing that LetsTalk.com has to the iPhone is either the Solstice, or the Samsung Impression. I would recommend the Impression if you don't mind having the full qwerty keyboard.

The Solstice would be a great choice if you don't need a physical keyboard and want less bulk. Both are Samsung phones with similar interfaces and both have 3G/HSPDA for fast web browsing. Be advised though, the screen is a tad smaller on the Solstice.

I recently upgraded one of the phones on my family plan to an iphone, but the other lines are still eligible for upgrade. Can I upgrade those two lines through letstalk and keep my iphone line on the same family plan? If so, how would I go about doing that? And does it matter if the iphone line is the primary line or not?

There is no way to make your input volume louder, but some cases or skins might cover the receiver, make sure that the small hole near the bottom of the phone isn't covered.
